At the Republican Party of Alberta, we’re committed to taking bold, decisive action to secure the independence Albertans deserve. Here’s our five-step plan to achieve Alberta’s separation—and how you can get involved to make it happen:
Step 1: Organizing in Every Community Across Alberta
We will nominate 89 candidates—one in every riding—who are committed to Alberta’s independence and putting our province first. These candidates will fight to ensure your voice is heard in the Legislature.

Step 2: Hold the Government Accountable
We will ensure the government respects the democratic will of Albertans by conducting a binding referendum on Alberta’s independence prior to 2027. If MLAs stand in the way of independence or refuse to support a binding referendum, we will use Alberta’s Recall Act to hold them accountable and demand better representation.

Step 3: Support a binding Independence Referendum
Our party is at the forefront advocating for Alberta independence. Should the Alberta government hold a binding referendum prior to 2027, we will work together to ensure a result in favour of Alberta’s independence. As part of our efforts, we are pre-organizing to ensure a successful referendum result.

Step 4: Implement Alberta's Independence Plan
Our team will execute a clear plan to assert Alberta’s control over its resources, finances, and institutions. This includes creating an Alberta Pension Plan, an Alberta Police Force, and trade agreements that prioritize Alberta’s interests.
